Product Recall
LG Electronics and Sears, Roebuck and Co. Announce Recall to Repair LG and Kenmore Elite® Trio™ Three-Door Refrigerators.
Problem: A faulty component in the condenser fan motor can short circuit. This could cause the condenser fan motor to overheat, posing a potential fire hazard to consumers.
Consumer Contact: Call LG toll-free at (888) 294-5782 or Sears at (800) 659-7026 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. CT Monday through Saturday. Consumers also can log on to http://us.lge.com or www.sears.com for further information on those models included in the repair program and to arrange for an in-home appointment.

Hidden moisture damage behind bathroom wall.
The top picture to the right shows an attic view of insulation on the outer wall of an adjacent bathroom. This view is from the attic above the attached garage.

Upon further investigation it was discovered that there was water damage hidden behind the insulation (bottom picture). This water was likely coming from the shower just on the other side of this wall.

Source of potential moisture intrusion.
The picture to the right shows a gutter filled over half way with dirt, mud, and small pine cones. It was so thick I could barely move the debris with my hands. It was most likely building up for quite some time. Plugged gutters are one of the leading causes of basement moisture. This is an inexpensive improvement but if not done, (and done on a regular basis), this condition can result in an expensive clean-up from water intrusion.

Hail damage
The picture to the right shows a small hole through the shingle caused by a hail hit. Hail damage can cause roof leaks and also make the shingles wear faster than normal. Many insurance agencies will replace a roof with 10 hail hits in a 10x10 foot area (square).
Many times hail damage is hidden from view unless the roof is walked on and properly inspected.
